A Halal Export Certificate is an official document issued by BHA confirming that a specific shipment or batch of products has been produced in accordance with halal requirements. It is typically required by importing country customs authorities, importers, and distributors as proof of halal compliance.
BHA export certificates include product details, batch/lot numbers, country of destination, and are signed and stamped by authorised BHA signatories. They can be notarised and legalised through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the relevant Embassy as required.
