When you verify a certificate, the system returns one of four possible results. Here's what each one means and what action you should take.
Certificate is found in the BHA registry and is currently valid. Full company details, certified products, and audit information are displayed. Safe to accept as proof of halal compliance.
Certificate was genuine but has passed its expiry date. The company may no longer hold current BHA certification. Do not accept as current proof request a valid renewed certificate.
Certificate exists but the company's certification has been suspended. Products from this company cannot be considered halal certified. Do not accept contact BHA for clarification.
Certificate number not found in BHA registry. This may be a forged, altered, or incorrectly copied certificate. Reject immediately and report to BHA.
